Dr. Shannon Bigbie has been under chiropractic care her entire life. She played sports throughout her life, and went on to play soccer for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. She gives all credit to chiropractic for keeping her body working at 100% throughout her career.

 

Dr. Shannon Bigbie was born in Mineola, NY and moved to Lexington, SC where she grew up. She went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. She then earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree Summa Cum Laude, as well as, her Masters degree in Sports Chiropractic Science from Life University in Marietta, GA.

 

Dr. Bigbie has cared for hundreds of athletes at Life University and Kennesaw State University throughout her time in Georgia. Dr. Bigbie throughly enjoys working with athletes of all levels.  She also devoted her time to a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility delivering chiropractic care to those individuals of metro Atlanta.

Dr. Avery Garrabrant

Dr. Avery Garrabrant discovered the wonders of chiropractic after she was involved in a severe auto accident and suffered from neck pain and headaches. She began chiropractic care and also started working at a chiropractic office. She not only noticed the great improvements in her health, but also witnessed countless patient lives changed with chiropractic care. These experiences had such a great impact on her that she decided to apply to chiropractic school.

 

Dr. Avery Garrabrant was born and raised in Venice, Florida. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Avery provided chiropractic care to hundreds of underserved individuals in the Atlanta metropolitan area.  She also dedicated many hours of her time providing spinal checkups in the communities of metro Atlanta.

In addition to working with people, Dr. Avery has a passion for caring for animals with chiropractic care.  She completed extensive hours (220+ hours) of continued education at Parker University  Animal Chiropractic Program, a program  approved  by the American Veterinarian Chiropractic Association (AVCA).  She is trained to adjust horses, dogs, and cats.

Prior to opening Ignite Wellness Chiropractic Center, Dr. Bigbie and Dr. Garrabrant worked at one of the largest chiropractic offices in the state of South Carolina, Bigbie Chiropractic Office.  During their time at Bigbie Chiropractic Office, it was voted The State’s Best Chiropractor.
